With our 4 wheel drive land- cruiser, you start from Chengdu and end in Chengdu after you fly back from Lhasa, driving through These route needs special permit, you can get it with our assistence.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu, check in the best Tibetan style hotel—5* Tibet Hotel. You should take the full advantage of today’s free time. It’s the best time to enjoy the famous local Sichuan Cuisine and the spectacular and unique local arts performance and Sichuan Opera “face changing” and “spitting fire”.

Day 2: Chengdu/Kangding---“The hometown of Chinese Love Song”. By 4 wheel drive land-cruiser, we start early in the morning for Ya'an, Luding and Kangding. Kangding is a medium-sized Tibetan town in Sichuan where we spend our first night in Kangding Jiaotong Hotel (3 star), the best hotel found in Kangding..

Day 3: Kangding/Mugetso Lake/Xinduqiao Today's trip covers the attractions of Ngachu Gonpa Monastery, Dordrag Gonpa and Mugetso Lake. We are going to enjoy a nice picnic by the beautiful lake. By the way, You may enjoy the famous hot spring on the half way.We will drive to Xinduqiao and stay at the typical Tibetan style guesthouse here.

Day 4: Xinduqiao/Tagong Grassland/Luhuo Today, we drive to Luhuo via Tagong Grassland. The best guesthouse will be the place where you spend your peaceful night,.Although the hotel is not fancy enough, it is quite acceptable with hot water for 24 hours. The attractions will be Tagong Monastery.

Day 5: Luhuo/Xinluhai Lake/Dege Today's trip takes about 8 hours. We will drive through Ganzi and stay at Dege. Besides the beautiful lanscape, Dege printing house is yhe very highlight today !

Day 6: Dege/Chamdo Today, we will cross the boarder of Sichuan and Tibet, passing through Jiangda, Tuoba and arrive in Chamdo before dinner. Chamdo hotel will be our accommodation tonight. Today's attraction includes Peipung Chokhorling Monastery, Mt.Quer.

Day 7:Experience Chamdo Today's itinerary is not tough, you will enjoy the Kalden Jampaling Monastery in Chamdo.Saty at Chamdo hotel tonight.

Day 8: Chamdo/Basu Passing through Lake Ngan Tso, today's attraction is Bangda Grassland and have a view of the longest airport on the world Bangda airport in Chamdo. Arrive Basu. Overnight here.

Day 9: Basu/Bomi From Basu, you will experience the road in zigzags among the mountainous area. Have the best view of the virgin forest on the way . Arrive Bomi.before dinner.

Day 10: Bomi/Bayi From Bomi, you will enjoy the towns of Tongmai,Dongjiu, Ningtri and overnight in the beautiful town --- Bayi the Capital of Ningtri Prefecture Attractions will be Great Cypress Park which is the holy tree in the Bon religion.

Day 11: Bayi/Langxian From Bayi, we will go to Langxian and overnight at Langxian.

Day 12: Langxian/Tzetan From Langxian, we will go to Tzedang, the Capital of Shannan Prefecture .We will visit Yongbulakhang Monastery, Tomb of Tibetan King and Lubu temple.

Day 13: Tzetan/Lhasa Today, we finally arrive in the capital of Tibet---Lhasa after the visits of Samye Temple and Mingzhuling Temple. Lhasa hotel in Lhasa city is a 4 star hotel where you can really relax yourself and have a nice sleep.

Day 14: Lhasa---The Holy City in the High Platau. Today's programm will cover the most important attractions in Lhasa including Potala Palace, Jorkhang temple, Norbulingka Palace and Barkhor market street..

Day 15: Lhasa/Chengdu With unforgettable memory, you will fly back to Chengdu with China t Airlines CA4402 taking off at 09:00 AM and arriving in Chengdu at 11:30 AM. Our bus(car) will take you to Tibet Hotel.

Day 16: After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly back home. After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly back home.
