More tourists coming into Tibet tours
Mysterious , unique and charming, Tibet is always the fairyland in our mind and has long been known as the very top tourist attraction all over the world. Although it was much easier to get a ticket to Tibet, it became more difficult since April, even a train ticket has become a castle in the cloud. With the hug crowed of tourists coming at present, travel companies in Tibet are now just rushing around like a chicken with its head cut off!! With no doubt, it will be a very top season again in May!!
With the opening of tourism marketing on 5th of April, more and more groups and FIT “rushed” into Tibet. “We did received 13 foreign groups one day for the most, and in April we have received 127 foreign groups with 500 people. In May, there will be much more and most of them have confirmed they programmes, Optimistic estimate, we will have more than 200 foreign groups and 3400 Chinese tourists.” According to Mr.Xu JianMIn, GM of Lhasa Tourist Company. “ We are very happy to have tourists coming again”.
Train Tickets:
It has been a problem getting a train ticket coming into Tibet, and the only way to get a ticket is book the ticket 10 days in advance! Many people prefer to take the train is because you may enjoy the breath-taking scenery on the way it is good to avoid Mountain Sickness. “But a smarter way is to flay into Tibet and take the train out”!! According to Steven Chen , manager of U-Way Tours, “ it may save your time and energy and you will enjoy more on the way out”!!
